I love helping people get started on their books.

Paul Challen is the author  of more than 60 non-fiction books. His work includes biographies of basketball star Isiah Thomas, crime writer Elmore Leonard and actor Hugh Laurie.

Paul has written hundreds of feature articles for newspapers, magazines and websites.

Every fall he passes of love of writing to undergraduate students at the University of Waterloo as a sessional  lecturer in the Department of English at St. Jerome, one of the affiliated universities in the UW system.

As well as writing, Paul helps coach our clients through the writing process.

He lives in Dundas, Ontario.

Mike’s book M is for Maple is the bestselling alphabet book in Canadian publishing history.

He has appeared in front of 20,000 elementary school students across Ontario and in Alberta to talk about writing and all things Canadian.

Mike has interviewed more than 10,000 people and written books about digital marketing, writing, millennials, entrepreneurial life, inventing, Canada, the Stanley Cup, The Toronto Maple Leafs, The Montreal Canadiens, basketball, Inuksuks, horses, captains and soon, medicine. He has profiled Michael Jordan, Gordie Howe, Wayne Gretzky, Serena Williams, Sidney Crosby, Mario Lemieux and countless athletic stars.He has covered the Olympics, Super Bowl, World Series and Stanley Cup finals.

Mike worked as the in-house writer for Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, owners of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC and Toronto Marlies. His work has appeared in newspapers across Canada including the Calgary Sun, Ottawa Sun, Edmonton Sun, London Free Press, The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, and many more.

Mike was a staff writer for The National Post and a sports columnist for the Toronto Sun and Sun Media chain and a writer/columnist at The Hockey News.He has appeared on CTV, CBC television, CBC Radio, Global Sportsline, TSN, Rogers Sportsnet, TVO and on Radio at TheFan in Toronto.He wrote sports and news for the Hamilton/Burlington Spectator, the Woodstock and Ingersoll Sentinel-Review and the weekly Glencoe and Alvinston Transcript and Free Press.

Mike Ulmer was born on December 2, 1959.
